What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal filler is a soft injectable gel, based on hyaluronic acid, which is a sugar molecule that occurs naturally in the body.
For the purpose of cosmetic treatments, the hyaluronic acid been synthetically produced as a pure product to be used as a filling agent for various parts of the face to effectively and instantly reduce the appearance of unwanted lines and wrinkles.
Because hyaluronic acid is already present in our body it is the safest filler on the market and is unlikely to cause any kind of adverse reaction.
By boosting the skin’s supply of hyaluronic acid, dermal fillers revitalize and add volume to the skin giving a smoother and softer look to the face.
Benefits:
-
Replaces lost volume
-
Instantly diminish folds and deep wrinkles
-
Rejuvenate and enhance the face
-
Revitalise the skin
-
Re-plumps facial creases and sunken cheeks
How Do Dermal Fillers Work?
Loss of volume in the face is one of the key culprits of ageing. As we grow older, our facial muscles and connecting tissue begin to sag, often resulting in sunken cheeks and jowls. Dermal fillers are used effectively to lift and plump hollowness and fill lines and facial creases. Dermal fillers are injected with super fine needles under the skin in the nasolabial folds (nose to mouth lines) and the marionette lines (which run vertically between the mouth and the chin) to smooth out unwanted lines and creases.
Results are visible instantly and the skin looks immediately rejuvenated and revitalized through the reduction of deep facial lines.
Hyaluronic acid is naturally slowly broken down by the body and as a naturally occurring substance the treatment is both safe and temporary.
