Injection cosmetology

Plump and volumize the lips with dermal filler for a fuller and enhanced appearance with a more defined and contoured shape.

Lip Fillers

Treatment time: 45 mins - 1 hour

What is Lip Filler?

Dermal fillers contain specially formulated hyaluronic acid which a form of naturally occurring sugar already present in the body, including the lips. The filler is injected into the lip(s) to contour the lip, provide volume and shape and improve hydration.

Because hyaluronic acid is already existent in our body it is the safest filler on the market and is unlikely to cause any kind of adverse reaction.

The hyaluronic acid is naturally broken down by the body, so the treatment is temporary and safe. The effects can last up to 6 months.

Benefits:

  • Defined lip contour and Enhanced shape
  • Increased or replace lip volume
  • Improving hydration of the lips

How does Lip Filler work?

The area will be cleaned and a numbing cream applied. Once the numbing cream agent is effective to the surface of the skin the hyaluronic dermal filler is injected at specific points into the body of the lips and around the lip line (the vermillion border cupids bow) with a very fine needle.

Once injected, the filler supports and shapes the tissues of the lips resulting in a more volumized and contoured appearance for a younger looking and more enhanced lip.

The fillers typically last 3-6 months depending on your own bodies rate of absorption of the hyaluronic acid.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

It is important that you come with no makeup on the day of treatment and you must not reapply makeup for 24 hours in order to reduce the risk of infection or irritation at the injection sites.
